On 13 September 2019, Dr. Rungkiat Siriwongsuwan, Deputy Dean for Administration and acting head of the music program received a plaque "Outstanding Alumni Award" Ph.D. Program in Music, from Khon Kaen University. The award giver is Professor Dr. Preechawut Apirating, acting on behalf of the dean, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Khonkaen University.
