A music professor was invited to participate in the Wai Kru and Khrob Kru ceremonies for five Thai arts and sciences, and to promote Thai music and dance culture, from July 8-22, 2026, in Germany.
The Ambassador to Berlin and his wife presided over the Wai Kru ceremony for the five arts and sciences and the Thai Culture Festival (Thaikultur Fest) at the Südliche Schützenhalle in Lippstadt. The event was organized by the Classic Thai Music and Dance Group in Germany (Gruppe Klassische Thai Musik in Deutschland) in collaboration with Thai cultural partners to preserve, conserve, and disseminate Thai cultural heritage abroad.
The event included a Wai Kru ceremony for five Thai arts and sciences: Thai dance, Thai music, Thai crafts, Thai traditional medicine, and Thai martial arts. Various Thai cultural performances were also presented, including Thai music, Thai dance, folk performances, a Thai silk and costume fashion show, performances based on Thai literature, and a Muay Thai demonstration.
