
Congratulations to the
"Time-Made" group of students
from the Fashion and Lifestyle Design
program for winning first place!! They
achieved top success with their watch
strap development using the
"smocking" technique in the
“Prison Product Development
Through Youth Engagement” project.
This project featured 9 entries from 19
students from the Fashion and Lifestyle
Design program, Faculty of Fine Arts,
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. It
was organized by the Thailand Institute
of Justice (TIJ), in collaboration with
the Department of Corrections, the
United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
Regional Office for Southeast Asia and
the Pacific (UNODC ROSEAP), and the
Faculty of Fine Arts, Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University. The main theme was
"Through the Wall," aiming to
break down physical and social barriers
and support inmates in working with
younger generations to create innovative
and marketable products – a key
preparation for reintegration into
society.
This project wasn't
just a competition, but a learning
experience: Collaboration: Working with
the Department of Corrections. To
elevate the level of products made by
prisoners, Real World Impact: Winning
entries will have the opportunity to be
displayed and sold at the UN Souvenir
Shop. SDGs: Be a part of driving the
Sustainable Development
Goals.
