On May 8, 2026, the Fashion Design and Styling Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanoknat Mayusoh and Asst. Prof. Supawadee Chuisukha, along with faculty and students, met with H.E. Mr. Darkey Ephraim Africa, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Thailand, and his wife, Mrs. Thandiwe Doris Africa, at the South African Embassy in Thailand. The purpose of the meeting was to conduct a fitting for garments designed and made from Thai silk, to be worn at the 15th Thai Silk Festival, "Thai Silk on the Global Stage."


This step was a crucial one following the final design and measurements taken previously. Faculty and students collaboratively reviewed the details of the outfits, including structure, form, fit, and design elements, to ensure the final product was elegant, reflected the identity of Thai silk, and incorporated contemporary inspiration from South African culture.
